The Nursing Foundation of Maryland (NFM) is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation. NFM operates as the fundraising arm of the Maryland Nurses Association (MNA), the only state-wide, non-profit, multipurpose professional membership organization representing the interests of more than 70,000 Registered Nurses in Maryland.

MISSION: To promote the advancement of the profession of nursing through the financial support of education and research.

GOALS: The NFM is committed to advancing the educational and professional standards of nursing and the nursing profession by:

• Providing scholarships and grants for nursing students’ education and nursing research.

• Expanding the Board of Trustees.

• Exploring new fundraising opportunities
